New crimes of American Occupation in Latifia city in Baghdad
On Saturday May 13th, 2006 at 10:00pm, the US forces accompanied by the Iraqi National Guards attacked the houses of Iraqi people at (Shakha 1) area, affiliate to Al Latifya district south to Baghdad by a intensive helicopter shelling. This led the families to flee to Al Mazar and water canals to protect themselves from the fierce shelling. Then seven helicopters landed to pursue the families fled from the forces' fires and kill them once they arrest. The number of the victims mounted more than 25 martyrs. The forces detained other 6 persons including two women named; Israa Ahmed Hasan and Widad Ahmed Hasan and a child named Huda hitham Mohammed Hasan, whose father was killed during the shelling. However, the forces didn't stop to this limit, they held an attack on May 15th, 2006 supported also by the Iraqi National Guards, they also attacked the families' houses, and arrested number of them while other fled then turned these house as basis for them and their hunters.
The reason for this crime was a result for falling helicopter in an area close to where the forces held the attack. This revealed the reality of those forces as occupation troops not peace keeping ones leading them to commit massive punishment for all civilians in the area and repeat the genocide crimes as it did in Al Fallujah, Tallaaffar and Al Najaf. By this, it proves for the whole world that they are occupation troops and not for spreading democracy and peace.
Looking to hear your voice to stop this daily crimes.

The US occupying forces, accompanied by the Iraqi Guards attacked Al Ishaqi district at Salahueddein governorate (north Baghdad) on Monday May 15th, 2006. The forces arrested 60 civilians, ruined many properties and spread the panic and chaos in the area.
On May 18th, 2006 at 1:30 am the forces started an intensive bombarding from helicopters shooting the people houses and yards' at Al Rawashdeh district, of Al Ishaqi district. After the shelling, the helicopters brought down huge number of soldiers to attack this village where they killed four civilians; Nizar Ismael Mousa, Nathem Mahmoud Sayer, Jamal Mohammed and Qais Mahmoud Sayer, the first three names were killed with untraditional weapon as it was clear from the signs left on their bodies, while other three were injured and led to unidentified place.
The crimes and violations by the US occupation forces and death militias reached to a hysterical limit as they, both, commit their crimes forgetting any international or legal deterrent which led them to violate the Iraqi.
Therefore, we demand the international community and human rights defenders to raise their voices against these crimes and start lobbying on their governments and parliaments to intervene so that they prevent these daily crimes the occupation forces commit.
